Installed Red Stainless braided brake lines from THH Motorsports. Replaced front pads with PF Z Pads and bedded them in. Fully bled the system and filled it with Motul 600 RBF brake fluid.
Installed stainless steel bung in downpipe and AEM Wideband UEGO Gauge type sensor. Serial cable under ashtray and analog signal to ECU for future narrowband simulation. Upgraded startup injector pulse widths for better E85 starting and disabled P0300 series codes.
Changed the Transmission (2.9 quarts Synthetic Manual Transmission and Transaxle Gear Lube 75W-90), transfer case, and rear differential (.63 quarts each Severe Gear 75W-90 ) fluids with AMSOIL products.
Oil changed with Amsoil SSO oil and WIX oil filter.
Hit pot hole on 90E 3/4 Mi west of Arlington Heights road. Purchased and installed Blizzak LM-22 used (>1k Miles) on Evo VIII rims. Alignment performed at NTB under new 3-year alignment package just after new years (but was not very far off).
Replaced serpentine belt with 70.5" 6 rib Goodyear Poly V belt
Changed oil with AMSOIL SSO and an AMSOIL Wix Brand oil filter.
Switched to Tephra mod V6
Installed RC 1200 CC injectors
Installed Muse (knock off) UICP, mini battery tray, and Odyssy PC680 mini battery. Also installed "Ghetto-rigged" former AMS intake tube and AMSoil EA air filter.
Relocated throttle cable and sub-amp power wire (under door sill instead of center console).
Changed oil with AMSOIL SSO and AMSOIL EA oil filter. Installed Saiko Muchi Catch can on SAS mounting location. Installed prosport gauge and 3 gauge panel from Derek's totalled car (minor interior dash trim).
Loaded Tephra Mod ROM ID V7 - 88590715. Did not use narrowband simulation via wideband.
Changed oil with AMSOIL SSO and Mitsubishi Factory oil filter.
Switched back to pump gas. Predicted RC 1200cc injector settings were perfect.
Had LM-25 tires installed on Evo IX SE BBS wheels
Had a hairline crack on the inside lip of one Evo IX SE BBS wheel repaired by Tony at 847-922-0161 .
The worst has happened. After swerving to avoid someone (who was swerving at me after avoiding a large piece of metal in the road) I fishtailed, lost control of the vehicle, spun backwards and slammed into the median with the front drivers side, then rotating and hitting the rear of the car on 355N. The car has been declared a total loss :( .
Last recorded horsepower/torque was a Corn Fed 393hp/385tq (EvoM Comp VDR). This equates to ~420hp/tq on the AMS DynoJet.
